Amazon-owned self-driving car startup Zoox has started ramping up production of its driverless taxis.
Amazon's self-driving car startup Zoox is increasing its production of autonomous taxis, and the company is set to launch its first commercial plan in Las Vegas, United States. Zoox has opened a mass production factory in the San Francisco Bay Area, which will help Zoox expand its fleet of self-driving taxis. Once fully operational, the factory is expected to produce 10,000 vehicles annually. Zoox plans to launch public taxi services in Las Vegas later this year, followed by operations in San Francisco.
