On June 18th, data disclosed at a city briefing by the Dubai Department of Economic and Tourism revealed that Dubai received a total of 7.15 million international overnight visitors from January to April 2025, an increase of 7% compared to the same period last year. This marks a record-breaking growth for the second consecutive year, building on the 18.72 million visitors in 2024. As of the end of April, Dubai's hotel industry offered a total of 153,534 rooms, with all key performance indicators showing strong year-on-year growth. It is worth mentioning that the Dubai Department of Economic and Tourism recently signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Hunan Radio and Television Group to deepen strategic cooperation and enhance the Chinese audience's understanding of Dubai's rich and diverse tourism experiences. According to the memorandum, both parties will engage in comprehensive cooperation in culture and tourism, promoting cultural exchanges and tourism development between China and the Arab region through resource sharing, brand collaboration, and creative cooperation.
