Total (TTE.US) supports EU ban: plenty of alternatives to Russian natural gas

According to the Wise Financial APP, with the European Union proposing to ban all natural gas supplies from Russia by the end of 2027, TotalEnergies (TTE.US) believes that there are sufficient alternatives for Russian natural gas. TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanne said at a meeting in Tokyo on Wednesday: "The good news is that from 2027, 2028, and 2029, there will be sufficient supply in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market."
