Fujian: Focus on promoting the construction of special hydrogen refueling stations for logistics, ports, parks, and environmental sanitation.

The Development and Reform Commission of Fujian Province recently issued the "Medium and Long-term Plan for the Innovative Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry in Fujian Province". In this plan, focusing on the full industry chain of "preparation-storage-transportation-filling-application", the plan further clarifies the industry development path: Firstly, in the hydrogen production end, it will mainly focus on supplying hydrogen from industrial by-products in the near future, deepen the industrial application of hydrogen by-products in steel, coal, chemical and other industries, drive the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and realize the expansion and extension of the industrial chain of billion-dollar major petrochemical projects. Secondly, in the storage and transportation end, the key development will be high-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage and long tube trailer hydrogen transportation; promote the characteristic technological route of using ammonia as a hydrogen storage medium, achieve large-scale and long-distance transportation, support organic liquid hydrogen storage, solid hydrogen storage, and related materials and device manufacturing industries. Thirdly, in the filling end, the construction of hydrogen energy infrastructure mainly focuses on hydrogen refueling stations; accelerate the construction of dedicated hydrogen stations for logistics, ports, industrial parks, and environmental sanitation. Lastly, in the application end, it will explore and promote the comprehensive application of hydrogen energy in the fields of chemical industry, metallurgy, transportation, energy storage, etc., actively explore the technology demonstration project of natural gas blending with hydrogen to promote the popularization of hydrogen energy.
