Beijing Customs recently revealed the foreign trade data for the first five months of the year in the Beijing region. In the first five months of this year, the total import and export volume in the Beijing region reached 1.267 trillion yuan, accounting for 7.1% of the total import and export value of the country. Among them, exports totaled 250.85 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8%, reaching a new historical high for the same period. Overall, in the first five months, except for February, when the Spring Festival holiday affected exports, the monthly export value in the Beijing region remained above 50 billion yuan, maintaining a relatively high level.
