China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission Li Yunze: the elderly financial sector has great potential, the silver economy is expected to reach 30 trillion yuan by 2035.

Li Yunze, Director of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, stated at the Lujiazui Forum on June 18th that the silver-haired economy is booming and there is great potential in pension finance. With the accelerating aging population in China, it is expected that by 2035, the population over 60 years old will exceed 400 million, and the scale of the silver-haired economy is expected to reach 30 trillion yuan.
