In order to implement the "Pilot Plan for Deepening the Reform of Medical Service Prices" and promote the standardized formulation of medical service price projects nationwide, the National Medical Insurance Administration recently formulated and issued the "Guidelines for the Approval of Medical Service Price Projects in the Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Category," with 101 cosmetic and plastic surgery projects. Next, the National Medical Insurance Administration will guide provincial medical insurance administrations to refer to the "Guidelines for the Approval of Medical Service Price Projects in the Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Category," and instruct eligible medical institutions to independently and reasonably establish prices based on the principles of fairness, honesty, integrity, and equal quality and price, and promptly make them publicly available to the public.
