Romoss recalls nearly 500,000 power banks at risk of self-ignition.

According to the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration, Shenzhen Romoss Technology Co., Ltd. will recall three models of Romoss brand mobile power banks manufactured from June 5, 2023 to July 31, 2024, totaling 491,700 units. The reason for the recall is that some of the battery core raw materials have issues, which may cause the products to overheat during use, potentially leading to a risk of combustion in extreme cases. Consumers can replace the affected mobile power banks with new ones free of charge or receive a refund.
