Gold futures in New York fell by about 0.4%, probing to $3400, while spot silver rose by about 2.3%.

On Tuesday's New York closing, spot gold rose 0.12% to $3389.12 per ounce. By 08:37 Beijing time, it rose to $3403.31, hitting a daily high, and fell to $3366.31 by 22:38, marking a daily low, fluctuating between rises and falls throughout the day. COMEX gold futures fell 0.37% to $3404.80 per ounce. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index fell 0.24% to 208.82 points. Spot silver rose 2.28% to $37.1414 per ounce, with a significant rally after 18:10. COMEX silver futures rose 1.97% to $37.165 per ounce. COMEX copper futures fell 0.98% to $4.7885 per pound.
