The new coalition government of Mongolia took office and was sworn in.

The State Great Khural of Mongolia held a plenary session in the early morning of the 17th to the 18th, approving the draft law on government structure and composition submitted by the newly appointed Prime Minister Zandanshatar. The new joint government of Mongolia was subsequently declared established and sworn in at the State Palace. The new government consists of 16 ministries, as well as 1 First Deputy Prime Minister and 2 Deputy Prime Ministers. In the new government, 17 members are from the Mongolian People's Party, 2 are from the Democratic Party, and 1 is from the Civil Will-Green Party. Ten members from the previous government continue to serve in the new government.
