Douyin will release movie user ratings during the summer vacation season, aggregating real public opinions on the movies.

On the evening of June 17th, the 2025 Douyin Movie Adventure Night, hosted by Douyin and guided by the China Film Association, was held in Shanghai. Douyin also announced that it will gradually release movie ratings by users during the summer season. Through the rating and reviewing features, users can express and share their opinions on movies, as well as quickly view and understand the opinions of other audience members.
