Report: Qatar has informed that many LNG tankers are waiting outside the Strait of Hormuz to load cargo.

Bloomberg cited sources as saying that Qatar Energy Corporation has issued precautionary instructions to numerous liquefied natural gas tankers to wait outside the Strait of Hormuz until the day before loading. The source said that delays in shipments are not expected. The directive applies to ships carrying petrochemical products. UK natural gas futures rose more than 4.6%, hitting a daily high of 93.220 pence; Dutch natural gas futures rose 4.4%, hitting a daily high of 39.410 euros.
