DDR4 prices have surged sharply, distributors say it's very difficult to get stock.

Recently, the prices of DDR4 storage products have been rapidly increasing, attracting attention from the semiconductor industry. Reporters learned from several distributors and analysts that the price of DDR4 in recent days has exceeded market expectations. Cai Kai, a distributor in Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei electronics market, told reporters: "Prices are skyrocketing, and quotes are different every day. I am currently having difficulty obtaining goods." Other industry researchers stated: "The recent price increase of DDR4 is significant, with prices for 8GB and 16GB DDR4 specifications increasing by nearly 8% in a single day, which is quite rare. The main reason for the rapid price increase is that international original manufacturers are gradually reducing or even ceasing production of DDR4, leading to a decrease in DDR4 supply in the market, while demand has not decreased accordingly, resulting in a supply-demand imbalance."
