On June 17, Li Zhen, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, stated at the second special advancement meeting of the deepening and upgrading action on the reform of state-owned enterprises in 2025 that experience has shown that in order to adapt to new requirements, different types of enterprises should improve their innovation system from different dimensions such as innovation, systematization, specialization, openness, and agility. The reform responsibility departments and technology innovation departments of central enterprises and large local state-owned enterprises need to further study the support of the innovation system. Local state-owned assets supervision authorities should pay attention to promoting technological innovation from different levels such as state-owned assets supervision, industrial layout, and enterprise strategy, and especially should continue to play a role in the layout, empowerment, and ecology of innovation, strengthen cooperation with local departments of industry and technology, and build a local innovation system and environment that are suitable for the region.
