Macau: Preliminary statistics show that the total foreign exchange reserve assets at the end of May amounted to MOP 236.3 billion.

According to the Zhixin Finance APP, on June 16th, the Monetary Authority of Macau announced that the total foreign exchange reserves of the Macau Special Administrative Region by the end of May 2025 were preliminarily estimated to be 236.3 billion Macau patacas (29.26 billion US dollars), an increase of 3.1% from the revised total of 229.2 billion Macau patacas (28.68 billion US dollars) in April 2025. The total foreign exchange assets at the end of May 2025 were approximately 11 times the circulating currency in Macau at the end of April 2025, or 89.9% of the Macau element in broad money supply (M2) in April 2025.
