From January to May, Shanghai fixed-asset investment increased by 6.2% year-on-year.

According to data released by the Shanghai Statistics Bureau on June 17th, from January to May this year, the total fixed asset investment in Shanghai increased by 6.2% compared to the same period last year. Among the three major investment areas, urban infrastructure investment increased by 19.1% compared to the same period last year; industrial investment increased by 18.7%; real estate development investment increased by 4.0%.
