In May, the total area of second-hand houses signed in Nanjing was close to 1.13 million square meters, an increase of 22% year-on-year.
The Nanjing Real Estate Industry Association disclosed on its official account that the second-hand housing market in Nanjing remained hot in May. The total area of second-hand housing transactions in Nanjing reached 1.1275 million square meters, a year-on-year increase of 22.0%; among them, the transaction area of second-hand residential properties was 1.0312 million square meters, a year-on-year increase of 20.1%. Looking at the different districts, transactions of second-hand residential properties in all 12 districts increased year-on-year, with Liuhe District seeing an increase of over 50%, while Xuanwu District, Gulou District, Qinhuai District, Gaochun District, Jiangning District, and Qixia District saw increases of over 20%. In terms of area, 60-90 square meters were the main transaction area for second-hand residential properties in the city, accounting for 39.1% of the total transaction volume. Large-size units of 120-140 square meters and over 140 square meters were still concentrated in Jiangning, Jiangbei New District, Jianye, and Gulou districts.
