"Chongqing-made" achieves breakthrough in core technology, the first domestic carbon-based integrated circuit production line launched in Chongqing.
On June 16th, it was learned from the Chongqing Carbon-based Integrated Circuit Research Institute of Peking University that the first domestic carbon-based integrated circuit production line has recently been put into operation in Chongqing, and mass production has already begun. The commissioning of this production line marks a solid first step for carbon-based integrated circuits to move from laboratory innovation to engineering applications, which will accelerate the development of carbon-based integrated circuits in China and help "China Core" achieve a leapfrog in its development. It is reported that the world's first handheld hydrogen detection device based on carbon chips, developed by the institute, has been used in hydrogen energy vehicles from companies such as Bosch and Qingling to meet the demand for rapid leak detection. In the next step, Peking University's Chongqing Carbon-based Institute will speed up the construction of a carbon-based integrated circuit manufacturing demo line and develop a more advanced complete process platform.
