Yesterday, the "Vitality China Research Tour" theme interview activity entered the Xiaomi Car Super Factory, unveiling how the Beijing automotive industry is continuously moving towards electrification, intelligence, greenization, and high-endization, becoming the more valuable "number one industry of Beijing manufacturing". Intelligent manufacturing is accelerating the empowerment of the automotive industry's transformation and upgrading. As an important automotive industry base in the country, Beijing currently has 8 vehicle manufacturers producing in Beijing, including Beijing Benz, BAIC New Energy, Ideal Cars, and Xiaomi Cars. By 2024, the automotive and transportation industries will achieve an output value of over 440 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of over 15%. Whether it's die-casting materials or die-casting equipment clusters, they are all self-developed by Xiaomi, which is a first among domestic car manufacturers. "In the past five years, Xiaomi has invested 102 billion yuan in research and development; in the next five years, we will continue to invest 200 billion yuan." Xiaomi Group founder Lei Jun bluntly stated that Xiaomi Cars have benefited greatly from Beijing's industrial foundation.
