On the 16th local time, Israel's largest oil refinery operator, Bazan Group, announced that all facilities at its refinery in Haifa Bay have been forced to shut down due to a missile attack launched by Iran. Bazan Group stated in a statement released to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange that the facilities have been damaged and the power plant has been severely destroyed, resulting in the closure of all facilities at the refinery and its subsidiaries. Bazan Group also mentioned that they are working with the Israel Electric Corporation to restore power supply to the refinery facilities. It is reported that the attack launched by Iran on the Haifa refinery on the morning of the 16th resulted in the death of 3 people.
