Chicago soybean oil futures rose by about 9% on Monday, as investors were optimistic about the Trump administration's biofuel plan, while corn fell by about 1.7%.

On Monday, the Bloomberg Grains Subindex fell by 0.76% to 30.9416 points in the late session in New York. After the opening of the US stock market at 21:30 Beijing time, it rose before significantly dropping at 22:30 to a daily low of 30.7507 points. CBOT corn futures fell by 1.69% to $4.3550 per bushel, closing lower for the whole day. CBOT wheat futures fell by 1.07% to $5.5275 per bushel. CBOT soybean futures rose by 0.57% to $10.6075 per bushel, while soybean meal futures fell by 2.28% and soybean oil futures rose by 8.77%. In the Asian trading session, there was a "gap up" at the opening and continued fluctuation in an upward trend throughout the day.
