According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Sumitomo International (06969.HK) announced that on June 16, 2025, Yiwei Lithium Energy has obtained the approval of the board of directors to reduce its equity in the company by up to 3.5% (approximately 216.57 million shares) through block trades, centralized bidding trades, and other means within one year from the date of approval of its wholly-owned subsidiary EVE Battery Investment Ltd. (EVE Battery).
