Este Lauder honorary chairman Leonard Lauder passed away.

Este Lauder announced that its honorary chairman, Leonard Lauder, passed away on June 14 at the age of 92. Leonard was born in New York City in 1933 and was the eldest son of Este Lauder, the founder of Este Lauder Companies. He officially joined the company in 1958 and served as president from 1972 to 1995, CEO from 1982 to 1999, and chairman from 1995 until his retirement in June 2009.
