Establishment of the Manufacturing Industry Trial Standardization Technical Committee under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

On June 15th, the Industrial and Information Technology Department's Manufacturing Industry Pilot Standardization Technical Committee held its inaugural meeting in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Xie Shaofeng, Chief Engineer of the Industrial and Information Technology Department, and You Zheng, Director of the Pilot Standardization Committee and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the meeting and unveiled the plaque for the pilot standardization committee. The relevant responsible comrades from the Science and Technology Department of the Industrial and Information Technology Department read out the announcement of the establishment of the pilot standardization committee. The establishment of the pilot standardization committee is an important measure to implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and is an important symbol of guiding the innovation and development of manufacturing pilot projects into a new stage with standards. The committee is mainly responsible for the revision of industry standards in the fields of manufacturing pilot projects, basic common, key technologies, and industry applications, with the secretariat located at the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of the Industrial and Information Technology Department. At the same time, the first plenary meeting of the pilot standardization committee was held, deliberating and approving the committee's charter, secretariat working rules, standard revision work procedures, as well as the 2025 work plan and the composition of working groups. Relevant responsible comrades from the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the Science and Technology Department of the Industrial and Information Technology Department, some provincial industrial and information technology authorities, committee member representatives of the pilot standardization committee, and related industry experts attended the meeting.
