Our country will carry out the fourth national agricultural census.

At today's press conference held by the State Council Information Office, officials from the National Bureau of Statistics introduced that China will conduct the fourth national agricultural census in 2026, mainly investigating five aspects of content. Fu Linghui, the spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics, introduced that this agricultural census will first investigate the production conditions of agriculture, including agricultural practitioners, land use and transfer, and agricultural social services; secondly, the production of grains and major food, including grains and economic crops, livestock products such as meat, eggs, and milk, forest products, aquatic products, etc.; in addition, it will also investigate the situation of new agricultural productivity, basic rural development, and rural residents' living conditions.
