A reporter asked about the recent announcement by the BRICS presidency country Brazil, which stated that Vietnam has become a BRICS partner country, and asked for China's comments on this. Guo Jia Kun replied that China welcomes Vietnam as a BRICS partner country. Vietnam's participation in BRICS cooperation is not only beneficial for its own development, but also in line with the common interests of the BRICS countries and the global South.
