Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: Launching a special action to strengthen the full chain management of crop varieties, substantial progress will be made in solving the problem of homogeneity of varieties within 3 years.

In order to further implement the action plan for the revitalization of the seed industry, targeted measures will be taken to strengthen the full chain management of crop varieties, strictly supervise variety trials, strictly control variety approval, strictly prevent homogenization and modification breeding, and resolutely crack down on infringement activities such as counterfeit brands. To accelerate the cultivation and promotion of breakthrough new varieties, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has formulated "Several Measures to Strengthen the Full Chain Management of Crop Varieties" and decided to launch a special action to strengthen variety management, layer by layer, to push for implementation of the measures, and strive to make substantial progress in solving the homogenization of varieties within 3 years.
