Developing the market for wired broadband micro-dramas.
Cable Broadband announced that it will fully expand into the micro-drama market. Recently, it signed a cooperation memorandum with the mainland micro-drama platform Saros TV to introduce some of its content to the micro-drama platform on the HOY app for on-demand viewing. The HOY micro-drama platform will be launched in the third quarter. The group will also strengthen platform construction, distribute HOY programs to markets outside of Hong Kong, and introduce new technologies to enhance advertising benefits, further deepening the group's overall media strategy development. The group will cooperate with emerging micro-drama platforms like Saros TV in various aspects related to micro-dramas. In addition to establishing a micro-drama library, building a micro-drama platform, and developing overseas markets, the group is also preparing to co-produce and produce micro-dramas, and customize micro-drama placement promotion plans for clients. Saros TV is an overseas-oriented micro-drama platform with a library of tens of thousands of micro-drama episodes. Furthermore, Cable Broadband stated that it will launch a streaming service as early as July, offering diverse content that includes programs from its three HOY channels, as well as programs from mainland China and various overseas countries. It will use new technologies to enhance online viewers' viewing experience and increase the quality and quantity of high-quality content available for free viewing for Hong Kong audiences.
