The first 1,000-qubit superconducting quantum computing measurement and control system in our country has been delivered.
On the 16th, the Quantum Information Engineering Technology Research Center of Anhui Province announced that China's first superconducting quantum computing measurement and control system designed for a scale of thousands of qubits, the ez-Q Engine2.0, has been officially delivered to several research and industrial units including the University of Science and Technology of China and China Telecom Quantum Group. As the core equipment serving the "Zuchongzhi III" quantum computer jointly developed by companies such as Science and Technology Guondun Quantum Technology Co., Ltd., it will provide measurement and control services for over 5000 qubits for multiple institutions. This lays a solid foundation for the future research and development of larger-scale error-correcting superconducting quantum computers in China.
