An explosion occurred at a fireworks factory in Linli, Hunan, and casualties are currently being verified.

According to the emergency management bureau of Linli County, Hunan Province, on the morning of June 16, 2025, at around 8:23 am, an explosion occurred at Shan Zhou Firecracker Factory in Shan Zhou Village, Tingxian Du Town, Linli County. After the accident, the county party committee and government attached great importance to it, and relevant leaders rushed to the scene to command the rescue operation. Emergency, firefighting, public security, health and other relevant departments are conducting emergency rescue and disposal work at the scene. The situation of casualties is currently being further verified, and the investigation of the cause of the accident and the follow-up disposal work are being carried out in an orderly manner.
