On the evening of June 15th, Wang Hua, the General Manager of the Public Relations Department of Xiaomi Group, wrote that he saw news about a certain university banning the use of Redmi phones for online exams. After communicating with the university and the relevant app company, it was clarified that the decision to ban Redmi phones from exams was not made by the university, but by the company providing online exam technical support. Wang Hua stated, "This is actually a misconception that has not been updated. Redmi phones are no longer the low-cost devices they used to be. Nowadays, the Redmi brand has been upgraded, with models like Note, Turbo, and K series known for their quality and performance. Especially the K series is now a flagship model with luxury performance, fully capable of meeting all online exam requirements."
