Multiple measures empower the rural deployment of new energy vehicles by 2025.

On June 15th, the first stop of the "2025 New Energy Vehicles Going to Countryside" event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and other five departments was launched in Rugao, Jiangsu Province. This year, a total of 124 new energy vehicle models were selected for the event, surpassing the 99 models in 2024 and exceeding one hundred for the first time. Along with the expansion of the number of models, the government, enterprises, and industry organizations will also take multiple measures to empower this year's new energy vehicles going to the countryside. It is understood that this year's event will strengthen cooperation with policies such as trade-in incentives, and filling gaps in charging facilities in county-level areas. In addition, several county cities with potential market demand will be selected to hold specific promotional events both online and offline. Furthermore, all types of entities involved in the production, sales, and finance of new energy vehicles are encouraged to participate and jointly provide consumers with integrated sales programs including "purchase discounts, energy support, and service guarantees".
