Heavy rain continues in multiple areas in Shaoguan, Guangdong, and flood warnings are in effect in Jiangwan Town.
On June 15 at 8 o'clock, typhoon "Butterfly" was located in Lian'nan Yao Autonomous County in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, with the maximum wind force near the center reaching level 7. It is expected to continue moving northeast, gradually weakening in intensity, and may move out of Guangdong by noon. Heavy rainfall has been reported in many areas in Shaoguan, with a continued effect of the heavy rain warning signal. The meteorological station in Shixing County predicts that the rainfall in the next 3 hours will exceed 50 millimeters. According to monitoring data from hydrological automatic stations in Shaoguan, as of 10 o'clock on June 15, 4 stations in Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, 1 station in Qujiang District, and 2 stations in Lechang City, a total of 7 stations have reached the standard for heavy rain warning. The Shaoguan Hydrological Sub-bureau of the Guangdong Provincial Hydrological Bureau has issued a flood warning, urging relevant units and the public along the Longgui River in Wujiang District, Jiangwan Town to stop water-related production and recreational activities that are not flood control related, closely monitor changes in rainfall, strengthen prevention, and evacuate in time if necessary.
