Hengyang, Hunan: Starting from July 1st, purchasing a garage can be done using the housing provident fund.

On June 12, the fifth session of the seventh meeting of the Housing Provident Fund Management Committee of Hengyang City, Hunan Province was held, and the "Notice on Further Optimizing and Adjusting the Housing Provident Fund Policy" was reviewed and approved. In terms of increasing the loan amount, the "Notice" specifies that for workers who regularly deposit their individual or both spouses' housing provident fund and apply for a housing provident fund loan to purchase their own residence, the maximum loan amount has been raised from 800,000 yuan to 900,000 yuan. The "Notice" also specifies that starting from July 1, 2025, workers who deposit their provident fund in Hengyang City and purchase a garage in the same residential area as the purchased housing, can apply to withdraw the housing provident fund within 24 months after handling the registration of the garage contract or garage real estate ownership certificate.
