The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the "Administrative Measures for Science and Technology-oriented Business Incubators of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology". The measures provide for the dynamic management of science and technology-oriented business incubators, including accelerators, maker spaces, and the like. In the identification of incubators by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the measures establish two categories: standard level and outstanding level. Standard level incubators are compared to national-level incubators, and can be recognized as standard level if they meet the specified criteria. Ministry-level incubators are compared to international first-class incubators, and are selected for recognition, providing innovative incubators with high standards of professional services in emerging industries and future industrial fields.
