Typhoon "Butterfly" has strengthened again to typhoon level.

Reporters learned from the meteorological department of Hainan Province that this year's first typhoon "Butterfly" had intensified from a strong tropical storm to a typhoon at 8:00 on the 14th. The center was located at 20.2 degrees north latitude and 109.0 degrees east longitude, which is in the northwestern sea area of Hainan Island. The maximum wind force near the center is 12, the minimum central pressure is 975 hPa, the radius of the seven-level wind circle is 60-100 kilometers, and the radius of the ten-level wind circle is 20 kilometers. It is expected that "Butterfly" will move northeast at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour and land on the western part of Guangdong to the coastal areas of Guangxi around noon on the 14th. After landing, it will move northeast and gradually weaken in intensity. It is expected that in the next 24 hours, most towns in 8 cities and counties including Haikou, Chengmai, Lingao, Danzhou, Baisha, Changjiang, Dongfang, and Ledong will experience heavy rainfall of over 50 millimeters, with some towns in Dongfang, Changjiang, Danzhou, and Lingao experiencing heavy rainfall of over 100 millimeters.
