According to reports, the entity DTTM Operations, which represents President Trump's management of trademarks, has applied to use his name and the word "T1" to provide telecommunications services. Public databases show that these trademark applications were submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday, covering smartphones, phone cases, battery chargers, wireless telephone services, and potential retail stores. US senior professional lawyer Josh Gerben publicly stated, "While trademark applications do not necessarily mean that related products will be launched, the thoroughness of the application materials indicates that it has been carefully considered." He also pointed out that these trademark applications indicate that Trump may be planning to launch Trump-branded phones or communication services to compete with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile in the US. He said, "This would mark a significant expansion of Trump's private business empire, which has traditionally focused on real estate, hotels, and branded merchandise."
