The China Securities Regulatory Commission announced the "Regulations on the Management of Program Trading in the Futures Market", which will take effect from October 9, 2025. Futures companies should regularly or irregularly check the information reported by program trading customers, and urge customers to correct any deviations from the regulations. If the customer does not correct the issue after being urged, the futures company should refuse to continue accepting their opening orders according to the regulations of the futures exchange and the agreement. Futures exchanges should regularly or irregularly check the information reported by program traders, focusing on the types of trading strategies, the highest cancel-to-trade ratio, the maximum number of cancelled orders in a single day, etc., of high-frequency traders. If discrepancies are found in the reports, self-discipline measures will be taken in accordance with the business rules.
