On June 13, an industry insider in the aviation industry told reporters that as a mature model that has gone through multiple generations of upgrades, the Boeing 787 should have a "redundant design" for systems such as power or air conditioning, so that there is a backup in case of a single system failure. From this perspective, it should not be considered that similar malfunctions would be a direct cause of a disaster. However, incidents of major mechanical failures occurring due to errors during routine maintenance have also happened and cannot be completely ruled out. In addition, an aviation industry insider pointed out to reporters that based on the publicly available videos, it can be observed that the aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff, with the landing gear still extended and then quickly entered a plummeting and uncontrollable state before ultimately hitting the ground. One of the most likely causes of the accident may have been the aircraft encountering wind shear after takeoff, which refers to a sudden change in wind direction or speed causing vertical air currents. Furthermore, it is also possible that both engines lost power after takeoff, which could be due to a dual-engine failure (both engines stopping at the same time during flight) or a dual-engine bird strike. The possibility of the aircraft itself experiencing technical issues, such as a malfunctioning control system, cannot be ruled out, as analyzed by aviation industry insiders.
