In the statement, Boeing President and CEO Kelly Ortberg expressed, "We offer our deepest condolences to the passengers and crew of Air India Flight 171, as well as their families, and everyone impacted in Ahmedabad. I have spoken with Air India Chairman N. Chandrasekaran and assured him that we will provide full support. A Boeing team is ready to support the investigation led by the Indian Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau." Boeing will adhere to Annex 13 of the International Civil Aviation Organization's Convention on International Civil Aviation, which stipulates that information about Air India Flight 171 will be released by the Indian Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau.
