According to reports, on Thursday afternoon, an Air India Boeing 787 aircraft crashed in the Mehangi area near Ahmedabad Airport in India. The plane was carrying at least 195 people besides the crew. Smoke can be seen coming from Adani Airport in Ahmedabad in videos shared online. Flightradar24 reported that the last signal from the Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London was received at 16:08:51 Beijing time, just a few seconds after takeoff. The aircraft involved was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with registration number VT-ANB.
