According to data from the China Real Estate Information Corporation, in May, residential land parcels in 300 cities were planned to have a total construction area of 25.46 million square meters, a year-on-year decrease of 21%. However, the land transfer fees reached 100 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.6%. In the eyes of industry insiders, the reason for this "discrepancy" is that many cities have concentrated on launching high-quality land parcels. At the same time, many cities have issued annual plans for housing development in 2025, and in terms of housing land supply, various places have clearly stated the need to reasonably control the supply of new real estate land.
