On June 6, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) held a meeting for mid-to-senior level management. The relevant leader from the Central Organization Department announced the decision of the Central Committee on the appointment of Chairman and Party Secretary of CNOOC: Comrade Zhang Chuanjiang was appointed as Chairman and Party Secretary of CNOOC, and was relieved of his positions as Director, General Manager, and Deputy Party Secretary of China Datang Corporation. The appointment and dismissal of related positions will be handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
