South Africa launches its first coastal climate change adaptation plan.

The South African government announced the launch of the "Climate Change Coastal Adaptation Response Plan" on the 5th, in order to address climate change threats such as rising sea levels, coastal erosion, and extreme weather facing coastal areas. It is understood that this is South Africa's first comprehensive plan developed to address climate change challenges in coastal areas, and it officially launched on World Environment Day on June 5th.
