The freight transportation volume of Xinjiang Railway has exceeded 100 million tons this year.

It was learned from the Urumqi Railway Bureau that as of June 5, the freight volume of Xinjiang Railway this year reached 1.01 billion tons, an increase of 2.0% year-on-year, breaking through the 1 billion ton mark 3 days earlier than last year. Among them, the external transportation volume of Xinjiang coal reached 39.4012 million tons, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year, adding new momentum to ensure national energy security and serve the high-quality development of the regional economy.
