Yunnan Province Vice Governor Liu Yong stated at a press conference hosted by the State Council Information Office that they will vigorously develop "port economy". They will integrate and enhance port functions, promote port economic development, and improve port city construction, promoting the coordinated development of "ports + routes + markets". The goal is to build the international trade "single window" into a one-stop, integrated service platform and create a benchmark for smart ports. They aim to elevate Yunnan's position and role in the construction of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0. They will strengthen the advantage in agricultural product exports, explore the trading potential in areas such as manufacturing and cross-border e-commerce, actively develop service trade, green trade, and digital trade, improve the "Yunqi Going Global Alliance" and the mechanism for coordinated development of production and trade, and support more Yunnan products in going overseas in groups.
