The Beijing Institute of Quantum Information Science recently announced that the module-level verification of the space-to-ground quantum direct communication system of the institute has been successfully completed, marking the formal entry of China's space-to-ground quantum direct communication technology into the construction phase of an integrated space-to-ground quantum direct communication network. On May 29, the commercial aerospace company in this city, Arrow Element Technology, successfully conducted the first sea-based flight recovery test of the Yuanhang 1 verification rocket. During this test, two sets of equipment modules followed the verification rocket to an altitude of about 2.5 kilometers, which is the stage with the highest acceleration and most intense vibration during the rocket launch. After inspection, it was confirmed that they passed the test. In the future, the team will continue to use the verification platform and resources to conduct module-level and staged verification, accelerating the construction of the space-to-ground quantum direct communication network.
