The bidding project for the survey and design of the Three Gorges Waterway New Channel Project has been approved by the project approval authority, the project funding source has been secured, and the bidder is China Three Gorges Construction Co., Ltd. According to the announcement, the Three Gorges Waterway New Channel Project includes the Three Gorges Hub New Channel Project and the Gezhouba Navigation Capacity Expansion Project, with a total investment of approximately 76.6 billion yuan and a total construction period of 100 months. The scope of the above-mentioned bidding includes: completing the survey and design work of the preliminary design, bidding design, and construction drawing design stages of the Three Gorges Waterway New Channel Project and other special works. This includes but is not limited to: completing the engineering survey from preliminary design to completion and acceptance, preliminary design, bidding design and construction drawing design, routine scientific experiments, preparation of relevant special reports, and on-site construction representation services throughout the project construction process; completing the construction survey first-level control network construction; completion of construction land and forest land use approval services; cooperating with relevant administrative requirements; and cooperating in engineering optimization and other work.
