United Nations commemorates the staff who died in the line of duty in 2024. Guterres: We will never tolerate impunity.

The United Nations held its annual memorial ceremony at its headquarters in New York on the 5th to commemorate 168 UN staff who died in the line of duty in 2024. UN Secretary-General Guterres stated that the UN will never accept UN staff being harmed unjustly, and will not tolerate those who commit crimes without punishment.
