In Colombia, a coal mine explosion occurred, resulting in the deaths of three people.

The governor of Cundinamarca, Colombia, Jorge Emilio Rey, confirmed on June 5th local time that a coal mine in the province experienced an explosion on the night of June 4th, resulting in two collapses. After 20 hours of rescue efforts, it was confirmed that 3 miners had died and 1 had been rescued. Following the accident, the Colombian fire department and others jointly launched rescue operations.
